What did the irish people ever do before sunglasses were invented?

Wear glasses with black permanent marker on them.

Wear glasses with black permanent marker on them.

    Is that right?

Was strolling back from the shop today, nearly got run down by four groups of powerwalking Fidelmas, all wearing sunglasses.

Insight, big sunglasses make you look stupid.

You'd think that, maybe that is a new "niche" for our little "educated" work force, sunglasses with wipers on them.

We've no sun for sunglasses. They're just called 'glasses' around here boy!

But to answer your question. I'm sure peaked caps were all the rage in the good oul sunny days. Also I've heard that hands over the temple was quite useful too. Or squinting..........or closing your eyes. You can see where I'm going with this. Yes, sarcasm. It's deadly!

I HATE when people wear sunglasses indoors! Nothing worse than some idiot coming into a shop with sunglasses on!
Someday I'm gonna ask if the lights are too bright, shall I turn them off!

    Get over yourself!

There are some people whose eyes are pretty sensitive to normal light - could well be some of these people.

Also there are some shops that are incredibly bright and have mirrors everywhere.
