    Tipped my car with someone else. Looking for quotes on the following damage to give me an idea [will check garages tomorrow, weren't open over the w/end]

    *scratched bumper, so will need to be touched up
    * broken headlight which will need to be replaced
    * new wing needed
    * both wing & door need to be sprayed

    It's a 06 Astra. Got a quote for 1300, and was totally shocked. Expected it to be half that.

    Really? How much would a new wing cost? I was completely baffled at that price. Luckily my bumper is still intact I suppose & doesn't need to be replaced....

    headlight approx 160e
    wing approx 100e
    Then its stripping off damaged parts, fitting new parts.Repairing bumper if possible.
    Your paying for
    Labour
    Primer
    Paint
    Vat
    This is a very rough breakdown on whats involved but you can see how it adds up.
    Even the smallest prang in a car costs a lot to put right.
