just a quick question. getting myself a new acoustic. I like the look/sound of a Lag slim guitar. just wondering if people have a perference of slim vs jumbo guitars and would they recommend one or the other?

A slim bodied acoustic will be quieter and usually have less bass.

A deeper bodied acoustic will be louder and project more with more bass (usually).

A pro/con between them to consider is that slim bodied acoustics are less prone to feedback and deeper bodied acoustics are more prone to it. This is something to consider if you play live a lot.

    Dont ask here!

Go try a bunch and let the guitar pick you.

Also, fingerpicking is better suited to slimmer bodied guitars. the bass tends to be too heavy on dreadnaoughts....but maybe thats what you want.

Dreadnaoughts are better for strumming and generally rocking out
