HELP ..Recovery Mode after every install

    I got my 3GS yesterday , came with 3.1.2 (7D11) and 05.11.07 . I ran the new blackrain and installed Cydia and Hackulo . Then proceed to install all my apps from iTunes . Then when I install something as simple as winterboard it goues directly into Recovery mode . This also happens if I switch the phone of and back on ....Recovery mode ..

    Any ideas ??

    Unfortunatly your gonna have to run blackra1n everytime your phone is switched off or rebooted.
    The reason for this is your phone has the new iboot 359.3.2 installed.To confirm this check the serial number from the box or in the settings of the phone , the 4th and 5th digits give the week the phone wad made. If it's week 40 or later then you have the new bootrom.
    This bootrom got installed on all new phones around 4 weeks ago. It rendered all pwnage ( redsnow etc) jailbreaks useless , it closed the hole that allowed a jailbreak to work on a reboot.

    GeoHot ( blackra1n) found a new jb method but it involves a tethered jailbreak everytime the phone is switched off , that's what you have .

    What you need to do is hook your phone up to your p.c , if iTunes opens close it.
    Open your blackra1n.exe on your desktop and "make it rain"
    30 secs later your back to normal .All your apps and settings will still be intact.

    This new bootrom is the single biggest headache at present in the JB community.
    Like all previous headaches a fix got found , it's only a matter of time.

    BUT.


    The vibe at the moment is that " jailbreakers" have never had it so good nor does the hack community think it can last , so is something coming down the river ? I for one will not be updating via iTunes a day soon .

    I read somewhere that once 3.2 comes out, geohot will work on a fix for this minor problem. Fingers crossed lol
