Hello!! I'll try keep this short and sweet.
Started seeing a guy a few months ago, who had come out of a 7 year relationship about 2 months before we met. Everything is going great between us so far. He's keen. Im very keen!! He even seems a little more interested than me in that he talks of us and our future (jokingly mind you). Now i think we're pretty much going out in that we meet up/talk regularly, are sleeping together, he hasn't been with anyone else and said he's not interested in being with anyone else either, he's told me he really likes me, and he treats me absolutely brilliantly.
Thing is- last week i asked him what was going on between us? He told me that he wanted to be with me but he wanted to take things slowly and see what happens, and that he wanted to be single for a while.

Surely if someone wants to be single, they should be single, and not act so coupley the way he does with me?? Or does he just want to have his cake and eat it too?? Am i being completely unreasonable here??

    Any opinions?

Taking it slowly etc is fine but surely he is not single if he is with you! You need to talk to him again. If it was me I would want going out but taking it slowly. Seeing you and considering himself single (able to see others) would not be ok with me at all.

Talk to him. Maybe it just came out wrong or it was a miscommunication.

I'd say he used the word 'single' instead of saying 'I don't want to get married just yet'.

It's early stages, you're probably nervous because everything's going so well! Judge his actions instead because they seem to be all good!
