am i right in thinking that the vrt which i know is calculated as a percentage of the open market selling price of the vehicle is the same for every month of a given year for a vehicle?
i.e. a 2003 whether it be january or december 2003 is given the same open market selling price
therefore if a car was april 2003, it would cost the same to pay vrt in january 2010 rather than having to wait until april 2010 in theory?

To be honest, I don't think there is any real system to it. It does go down year on year but I doubt they're in any rush to change things. You can always appeal anything you pay if you think it's over the odds

checking this on the online vrt calculator would confirm my theory outlined above but i was just wondering if anyone knew the specific technicalities
