    Hi,
    Myself and h2b are planning to get married in 2011 and want our reception in the new hotle in Loughrea. Just wondering if anyone has had their wedding there?Wat was it like??

    hi, planning to get married in 2011 myself. lough rea hotel is having a wedding fair at the end of this month, on the 29th i think.
    havent been to a wedding there but my mother has, said it went very well and food and service was good. sorry i cant be of any more help, thinking of carlton shearwater in ballinasloe as well so am going to compare the two on the 29th.

    Am getting married myself in early 2010 and booked the meadow court {friends have been there for weddings and they all have been excellent}....My sister was in the Loughrea Hotel for her daughters christianing and it was very poor and there were only 35 people ps no corkage in meadow court............

    I have shot weddings at all three locations. If you DM your email I will send you a link to a slideshow for a wedding at the Loughrea you can look at.

    Thanks for that but have the Meadow Court booked ..........thats just my opinion and hope i didn upset anyone,but the Meadow Court just looked that so much more professonal......will have to wait and see....................
