HUAWEI E220 UPDATE. FIRMWARE

    If any of you out there want the most recent firmware for the Huawei E220 Modem. version:11.117.10.03.99 Just follow the link below. I would recommend updating the E220 dongle on an XP o/c for trouble free up date. Please dont forget to remove the sim card before updating and use safe to remove hardware when complete. Updating continues to bring 7.2Mbps support to the modem and is a recommended update for all users including MAC.

    Here’s a couple of neat utilities for Huawei devices (E220\E270\E272\E172\E226\E800\E870) that you might find useful.

    This tool will disable the on-board VMC Lite auto installer. This is useful if you don’t want to use the embedded software on your machine.
