How to: Add Men and Motors channel in Windows Media Center

For some reason, Windows Media Center does not automatically tune in the Men and Motors channel correctly. It appears in the guide listings but has no service when selected. The source information shows that carrier frequency 10759MHz is used. I think it's possible that this is an old frequency that the channel used to broadcast on.

Here's how to add Men & Motors channel manually in Windows Media Center 7 (it may be a slightly different procedure in other versions):

Go to Tasks, Settings, TV, TV Signal, and choose Satellite Transponder Scan.
    Click yes to continue.
    Choose Single transponder scan.

    Enter these details:
    10891 for carrier frequency (MHz)
    22000 for symbol rate (kSymbols/s)
    Polarization is Horizontal
(The FEC is 5/6 but you don't need to enter this)

The signal quality green bars should light up green after you enter the information.
Click next to scan for services.

It will find two services, one of which is Men & Motors.

If the guide Listings are incomplete, edit the listings for the new channel and search for "Granada Men & Motors" or search for the channel number of the existing channel and copy the listings from it.
