Can I put a USB connection in my '08 Golf

I'm wondering is it possible to put a USB connection in my Golf?

The stereo can play mp3 CD's alright and there's an armrest and storage compartment.

I heard the connection is sometimes under the armrest, right?

If I had the right kit cold I do it myself? Has anyone any experience with this?

I'm guessing that the stereo should support it alright??

    Any input / advice appreciated. . .

I'd say one of these kits should do the job:

Its an AUX slot (earphone kinda thing) thats in the arm rest storage box.
Think it was an optional extra.
should be able to wire a USB to the radio though.

I just bought (but haven't received yet) a thing from ebay that plugs into a ciggy-lighter socket, plays mp3's from SD-card or USB, transmits songs to car radio via FM. Cost me about 7 euro including postage from HongKong. Might be an alternative solution to your needs.
