Are there any cheap wired ones that work?

You want to run a cable from your couch to the ps3 just for a headset, dosent make much sense.... As far as I know you can pair most mobile phone bluetooth headsets with the ps3 and they can be gotten very cheap.

Makes perfect sense to me...Wireless ones are unreliable imo and wired ones can be picked up cheaper...

Anyways get an Eye Toy PS2 camera...Works absolutely amazing with the PS3...Better than the wireless headset I had...Then again there would be very good headsets out there wireless but would cost minimum 30euro...Should pick up PS2 eye toy camera for less than a tenner unless you know someone that will give you one...

If you have an old copy of socum confrontation for the PS2 with the included headset, it works a treat.

The PS3 official one is reliable and I use it for MW2 without issue. Still think the old wired one is far more comfortable with a big mic and old style earpiece.

i used to use my old nokia bluetooth headset which worked perfectly but they werent designed i dont think for hours and hours of continuous use so the battery tended to give in after about 4 or 5 hours on cod :)

any bluetooth device should pair up, so if you know someone who has a spare bluetooth from an old phone or something ask them very nicely!!

I also have the eyetoy for ps3 which works perfectly well, although it does create some feedback due to it being on my tv, also i have seen on the net, headsets which are quite reasonable i think the brand is jabra or something, saw them on play.com or one of them sites for around €15 so there are much cheaper alternatives out there to the official ps3 version, and most do work :)
