Can you do it? I've a few playlists created, but am sick of the same running order of them, and all gets very predictable when hosting parties etc.

The iPod I have is the 80gb 5th generation one I believe.

    (This one: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Apple-iPod-Video-Black-Generation/dp/B000HZFC3I)

    Any help appreciated:)

yes you can. go to the settings menu then select click the shuffle option. The first click will shuffle by song. If you click it again it will shuffle by album. then select your playlist and it will shuffle the playlist.

Also works for albums, artists etc.

If you can read this, you're too close!
