Not sure if I'm in the right place, but I have a date with a nice girl tomorrow and I'm not sure where to take her! Its my first date in 5 years after a long term relationship!!

We're just going for a few drinks but I'd like somewhere cool to bring her. We're both in our late 20s so somewhere with a nice crowd and good music! Oh in Dublin City Centre by the way! :)

    Any suggestions guys??

It will be a struggle to find anywhere playing music before 10.30pm because of the match.

If it's a first date, you wouldn't want somewhere with loud music would you? You wouldn't be able to talk to her properly in that case. I can't think of anywhere decent off hand.. The Porterhouse maybe? That can get pretty packed though.

I went on a first date to NooBar on Duke Lane recently enough. Good music and not too loud BUT it was within a week of the place opening so it was fairly quiet. Since I haven't been there since then, I couldn't tell you what it'd be like or what the crowd would be like...

What about just a nice bar like Kehoe's or something? Hairy Lemon is nice actually..
