hi, i heard of a new gov scheme to help out small businesses in financial trouble where they would pay money towards their workers wages in an effort to keep the workers employed and off the dole. cant find details online...anyone heard of this?

There is such a scheme, but it is basically for exporting companies. The aim of the scheme was to keep these industries alive, rather than to keep people off the dole. I don't know if the category applies to you. It was announced some months ago. It was a relatively small amount of money that had been allocated. Your enterprise ireland contact would be the person to ask, if you are an exporting company.
