    Hi all,
Thinking of selling my 04 Toyota Celica (chilli red) below is the spec:
vvti 140 bhp premium pack, leather seats, rear spoiler 16 inch stock alloys.
    115000 miles on the clock
    Car is spotless

whats it worth in todays market???

Anyone looking at a used Celica will want the 189bhp model.

Not aiming this at the op especially but i am always wary of adds that say ***** miles "on the clock"....how about on the car?

    16k lol
not a Japenese import which have ugly indicator lights on front bumper, an ugly rear spoiler, smelly 'cloth' interior seats, no badges at rear, no front spotlights & no rear foglights. also its one of very few in Metallic Black which is simply the only colour for a Celica.

Someone should ring him, ask if he's the one selling the celica for only 16k, when he says yes, just say 'lol' and hang up :P

oops sorry for going a little off topic...

7-8k seems realistic based on what's on carzone.ie, no point in looking for silly money for it because it simply isn't gonna shift

octavia? what you looking to use car for?

to and from work mostly - 60 miles per day
celica is too hard on juice for +300 miles per week

got a link to the octivia?

no links, i have a mk11 petrol octavia. very happy. if you have any questions fell free to ask or pm me. drove a 1.4 one....avoid. after celica it would be totally lacking in power.

With that mileage and not being the 190 model I would have thought 4 to 5k.

Centre exhaust. Like parting your hair in the middle it doesn't always work.

No need to sacrifice a coupe for a boring hatchback or saloon just because you need a diesel:
