Why I love running...?

I was asked to summarise why I love hill running in c. 50 words. Here was my attempt:-
Hill running is a fantastic sport thats waiting to be discovered. I wandered into it 3 years back and found it quite addictive. Its you versus the hill. Tough going up but adrenaline-inducing coming down. The routes can be difficult but also glorious. Try it. Runners of all ages and abilities welcome. See www.imra.ie

Why not have a go at summarising your love of your running event (it could be marathons, ultras, 800s, or just running generally) in c. 50 words. Not easy but thought provoking.

running for me is an escape , its a way of forgetting about everything except putting one foot in front of the other .
sometimes if your lucky you forget you are even putting one foot in front of the other like your moving without trying , everything comes together at once, your stride clicks with your breathing you cover the ground effortlessly* and feel strong like you could run forever.
that my friend is a natural high

    *hope thats a word

running for me is something that i do just for me(though some of the pcyhoanylists here mite say im trying to impress my father).im not reliant on anybody and no one is relying on me.Not wanting to plagureise*(is that a word) Sungod,it my way of clearing my mind and maybe selfishly getting a few hours for myself ,tryin to find the spot where you forget ur even running and then reliasing"how did i get here"(though that happened at the wicklow way and was askin the locals in Baltinglass) and no one can hear your music....
