Are either of the AI games in Croke Park sold out?

    Hi,

Just curious, as I could've had my pick of tickets for the Australia game today, even got offered 2 better seats than I have at half the price :(

The tickets I have are pants (pretty much on the dead ball line), but I am now getting hopeful that at the very least, it should be no problem moving around a bit for the Oz game on Sunday.

Is there any way of finding out whether the SA game has sold more tickets? Unfortunately with the IRFU supporters club, while I am grateful for the chance to buy tickets, they really seem to have gotten the worst tickets in the Cusack stand......and with the having to purchase the tickets in a package, I've the same bad position for the next game.

To be honest, I'm tempted to flog the SA tickets if its an almost sell out game as I won't see anything from where my tickets are for.

    Ideas? Suggestions?

My club (Douglas RFC) had a hard time selling tickets for the Australia game.
Might be bacsuse its a Sunday game and where down in Cork.

All the IRE v. SA tickets are sold out though :)

It wouldn't suprise me given the insane ticket prices.

There's none going on public sale so I'd say from the IRFU's point of view its a sell-out.

Are you sure the tickets didn't go public sale? I thought they were available on Ticketmaster, now it might have been through my MRSC membership that I saw them. Unfortunately for me I wasn't avalable for either match.

A limited amount was released on sale to general public once the Supporters Club allocation was sold.
This was from the IRFU website. Not Ticketmaster.

Is there a good chance of getting a ticket before the game tomorrow. I'm thinking of going in and trying my luck, where is the best place to try to get a ticket before the game?

Touts are scum, don't encourage them. Go to toutless.ie if you want to try and get a ticket.

There will be hundreds if not thousands of tickets for sale around the ground on the street and in the pubs you'll find a genuine fan who'll sell you one at face value.

Dont buy off a tout, but if you've got a neck offer them half price as they'll have a devil of a time selling them :D

I wouldn't consider buying off a tout. I would only pay face value! I will head in and try my luck! Like you say it will be great fun near kick off if the touts can't get rid of the tickets!!

Folks, one more time with feeling; use the match ticket thread to discuss ticket related issues.
