Approx €100 will get you a fairly decent clean. If things are really bad and you need a more extensive cleaning then the price will vary depending on the time needed to do the work.

If you have prsi benefits or medical card they will reduce the cost accordingly.

In your case, pregnant with bleeding gums, you will probably get away with €100. I advise you do it soon. In the meantime brush those gums a lot and it will reduce the bleeding after a few days. ( they bleed more due to neglect)

I go for a check-up religiously every 6 months. My January clean is free (PRSI) and my July costs about 35 or 40 quid. This is assuming that I just need a clean, and no fillings.

I just pulled out by cheque book to see what I paid this year:

    Jan Filling & Clean: 60
    Jul Filling & Clean: 80
Aug Filling (No anaesthetic required ... that was fun :D ): 40

So doing the sums, a cleaning is 20, and an anaesthetic is 20
