red and swollen gums

    hi ,


    iam 34 week pregenent.from 4 weeks my tooth gums are red and swollen.is this common in pregenency or i need a check up for dentist? iam very worried .

    Very common for the hormones of pregnancy to make your gums inflamed and sometimes even overgrow. Go to a dentist and they will clean your teeth which will help a lot (remove any tartar etc.) Tell the dentist you are pregnant too.

    Dont worry common problem but get it sorted asap, dont want recession in the future....
