Push Fix

I haven't seen this mentioned here. But as most of you know, when you jailbreak and activate your iphone to work on another network, you are left without push. There was a solution in cydia that sort of worked but didn't. It meant installing a certificate to get push working but as everyone had the same cert, push messages didn't know where to go and you would get random messages meant for other people.

There is a solution for 3G and 3GS users where they can activate the phone with the original SIM in the tray and you could backup up the certs and re-inject. But if you don't have the original SIM or have a 2G phone you were out of luck, until now.

There is now a solution from pushfix.info but you have to pay for it ($5). This guy will generate a unique cert and email it to you but he is working on a cydia solution. I purchased this during the week, uninstalled the old non-working push solution and injected the certs that he sent me. It has been working perfectly for me for the last 5 days. Well worth the few $'s to get the push going, oh and I have nothing to do with this guy, just a happy push user :)
