I loved his WM20 match with Angle.

He had an absolute humdinger against Malenko in both their last ECW outing.

I think though the match where he beat Brock stands out for me more than any. It was a great storyline going into the match, and the match played out with Brock being very dominant. The 1-2-3 was one of the biggest pops ever Id say. The emotion in the crowd was like something we have not seen since and are unlikely to ever see in WWE again.

I have a "Los Gringos" DVD at home with his tag work in Mexico/Japan (not sure which, maybe both) with Art Barr. Must take some time to actually watch this soon.

For me it was probably the No Way Out match with Brock, it was a great match and I wasn't really expecting him to win the match because it seemed like they were just trying out new contenders at the time,Hardcore Holly etc

Eddie had many great matches though

This is the first match that comes to my mind too. He had many classic technical matches but for pure emotion and a damn good match in itself this one stands out. The pop at the end and the image of Eddie celebrating with the crowd is my best memory of Latino Heat.

It's 4 years already?? God, I still miss Eddie:(:(

My fav match was neither Eddie vs Brock at NWO '04 or the ladder match at Summersam '05 against Rey.

I was watching when Eddie won against Brock and I have never been so happy. I'm not ashemed when I went to school the next day telling everyone I knew that Eddie won. It was just a great match where Brock completly dominated Eddie for the whole match but Eddie came out with the win. I still remember Cole shouting "Eddie wins, Eddie wins!!!!!"

I loved the match the ladder match against Rey. Putting Dominik in as Eddie's child as brilliant. 2 best friend's going against each other.

I can remember watching the Eddie tribute show live and was crying all the way through:(:( I don't care though. I'm 19 now and still get emotional watching it.

Defenitly going to be watching Eddie's DVD tonight

R.I.P Eddie, gone too soon but never forgotton

    Viva la Raza!!

Super post, this the Malenko match for those who have not seen it.

He also had some great matches with Edge in 2002 as well.

His no holds barred match with Edge on Smackdown is the match that elevated Eddie to mainevent status in my eyes.

Halloween Havok. Mysterio and Eddie was unbelievable that night. I bought the "cheating death, stealing life" dvd just for this match. My wee boys love the wwe but even they go mental watching this display of skills and talent.

I only saw bits and pieces of wrestling back then. But Eddie beating Brock got me back into watching wrestling each week. I loved the ending to the Angle match with the boot coming off, that was great.

Brock v Eddie No Way Out was my favourite Eddie moment and match!

Also i think it was a ladder match with Edge on Smackdown and that was another great for me!

And the Summerslam match for the US title with Rhyno, Tajiri an Benoit!Great Match!

A very sad tragedy that rocked the wrestling world. I'm pleased to say I was able to see him live before he died.

As well as some of the matches mentioned here I'd also give a nod to the triple threat tag team match he had at Survivor Series in 2002 where Los Guerreros won the belts. This was when Smackdown was producing far more quality matches than Raw and I think it was at this point he really began to show his star quality. A great match with so many future world champs involved. Good video package on the match here:

This ain't a favourite match or anything but was Eddie involved in a programme with the Big Show and Show chokeslammed him or drop him on the windshield of a car or something? I kinda remember seeing Eddie with cuts on his back and bleeding.

WM20 -v- Angle, simply because I was convinced going into the PPV that Eddie would lose, so I was utterly delighted when he won. What a comical ending to the match too. :D

Hard to believe it's four years. I hadn't been watching all that much around the time he died, but I did see his last televised match against Kennedy, I do remember thinking when I was watching the match that Eddie looked utterly jaded.

Yeah that was a US Title feud as I recall.

My favourite for pure emotion was undoubtedly the title win agaunst Brock. Love that match to bits, I watch it regularly. Undoubtedly the greatest performance of Michael Cole's career. "Climb Eddy, climb!" as he goes for the frog splash, still gives me shivers down my spine just thinking about it.

Technically, the match against Rey in WCW at Halloween Havoc was as perfect a cruiserweight match as you'll ever see. Flawless exectution from start to finish of some of the most difficult stuff to pull of you'll ever see. Theres one spot that Guerrero said they pulled off on the night that they'd only have been able to get right maybe one time ina hundred.

I actually got goosebumps reading that just before read the shivers down my spine bit. For me Halloween Havoc would top my list though I've always liked that 3 way tag match from Survivor Series '02. WWE would love to have that much talent and star power in a tag title match these days.
