How do you gift spare games? (i bought TF2 and then bought the orange box ...so now i have a spare TF2 to give)

Cause any time i tryed it it says you have to do it at the checkout?

if you type in your cd key for half life 1 into steam it gives you about 10 games including opposing force, counter strike, blue shift, team fortress 1, death match.
might only work with partcular versions of the game...worked for me anyways.

I assume most people would be like me and bought Half-Life 2 and then got the Orange box when it came out, which had Half-Life 2 as part of it as well.

You can get it free if you have an ATI or an nVidia GPU (which is fairly likely if you can play the game).

I just replayed through OP4 again (it was very cheap on steam) - great game!

Those are the Mods for HL1 that Valve released free before steam, and then started selling as stand alone games when steam was made.

It's HL1, HL:BS, OpFor, HL:DM (which is integrated nocy into the actual HL game main menu {Load game, Find server etc.}), CS1.6, DoD1.5, TFC1.5, Ricochet, and access to the Steam Works CS1.6 Beta (which is crap as you have to have a server specifically for the beta. Most servers just stick with normal CS)

You get ALL these of you can enter a valid Half life 1 CD key into steam, or can buy a legit one off an online store

That bastard game, I got it when it came out and it's locked to an old steam account. I've contacted steam over the years but have never gotten any reply, I've even sent them on photos of the box and code. I still try to avoid any steam games to this day and haven't been able to play half life 2 despite having the legal copy right here beside me.
