    FAO all IAA members!

Just a reminder that the Irish Airsoft Association AGM is on tomorrow, Saturday 14th November. It takes place in The Red Cow Business Centre at 2pm sharp. The venue is easy to get to with ample parking. It is also on the Red Luas Line and is served by 51B, 68 & 69 bus routes.

Please remember that the AGM is only open to fully paid up members of the IAA. Members had to have renewed/signed up by Friday October 30th last to be elegible to attend and vote at the AGM. If you are unsure of your membership status please email us at info@irishairsoft.ie or check http://signup.irishairsoft.ie/login. Please bring your membership card with you although we will have a membership list at the door to verify those that may not have recieved their card in time. Friends or family of members will not be admitted and can avail of the hotel facilities for the duration of the meeting.

We would urge all members to attend. As well as the new committee, there will be a number of motions to be voted on and every vote counts.

We hope to start the meeting promptly at 2pm so please ensure that you are there on time.

Hope to see you all there tomorrow.

    Gareth
    IAA Events Officer

I'm there tomorrow for the AGM. I've had very limited access to ye olde interweb for the last 2 months, and I couldn't get a photo into the IAA in time for a new card, but I did renew membership on time.

In any case, see you all tomorrow afternoon.

    Any news on drinks afterwards?

Hmmm I was under the impression that the AGM was from 3pm to 6pm as stated on the main page of the IAA website.

I may be a bit late as I have other plans earlier in the day.

    - Just checked and yes on the main page it does say 3pm? Could cause a bit of confusion there lads...

Thanks for pointing that out Gandalf. The mistake you mention is in the 'Event Calendar' section of the home page - the post relating to the AGM further down the front page has the correct time which is 2pm.

Apologies for any confusion - we'll have our boffins change that on the IAA website ASAP and have the person responsible beaten severely!;)
