    Hi guys

This is not a lure for trolls to come up with conspiracy theories. Just a quick question from a n##b.

What happens if a fight goes to the weigh-in before the fight and doesn't make weight? Is the concern normally to be over weight for the class or can it both be over and under?

I thought I heard something in a recent UFC that somebody was over. Do they fight anyway but the title can't be on the line? or is it breach of contract or what happens?

Theyre given an hour to attempt making weight (you can be 1lb over for non-title fights).
If they cant make it, the other fighter is given the choice about still fighting anyway and a percentage of the fighter who didnt make weights purse is awarded to them.
