Copy dvds onto a psp. Is it possible?

Umd selection is shops is very poor. I have a huge selection of dvds here at home and I would be interested in copying a few dvds to save on my psp, or to save on a memory card for the psp. Is it possible?

Indeed it is possible. First you need to rip the DVD to your PC. Here's a wiki on how to do it. Once you've ripped the DVD to your PC, you should use a program to convert it to a format that is compatible with the PSP. I would recommend Xvid4PSP. It can take a while to convert the file but the quality is fantastic. There are programs which do the whole thing for you (ripping and converting in one go) but you have to pay for them.
