IRFU Supporters Club Autumn Internationals Tickets - Stadium Locations

    Hey all,

Just looking at the 4 tickets I have for the Autumn Internationals. I got them through the IRFU supporters club.

I've got 2 for Row C section 336 of the Hogan Lower, and 2 for Row Z of section 703 in the Cusack Upper.

Do the seating areas for people who give an extra few bob to the IRFU as good "supporters" seem a little... extreme?

I hope the view from these areas is decent?

Yeah, all 4 of mine are row Z on 703(see you there! :D). Dissapointing really that the paying supporters are fecked into a corner. Id consider the Cusack upper tickets to be better than the Hogan ones you have.

I brought this up with the IRFU last year and it seems to have been disregarded.

If the roof blocks out the view like I think it does, I might be the only thing ya see there!

I was also shoe-horned into those areas last year. A bit gutting since I paid 80 quid a ticket but thems the breaks. Didnt have the best view from Hogan Lower. Cusack was ok.

Dont worry about that ive spent my fair share of All ireland semis and finals high up in either Cusack or Hogan, the roof comes nowhere near to blocking the view, unless your sole focus is the stand opposite.

Just dont have too much to drink, coming down those steps after a match can be a hazard if your footing isnt as steady as it is usually. :D

Well row Z was an experience anyway... like watching a match while sitting on the pointy bit of a very high roof.

My Dad was down in the corner of the Hogan, 3 seats back from the pitch. He couldnt see much unless it was happening beside him because there was no height and he was in line with the posts.

I don't want the best seats in the house for being in the supporters club, but I do expect to be able to watch the match properly.

Perhaps the IRFU take the view that those involved in clubs deserve the "best tickets" and then offer the remainder to supporters, someone has to sit there.

an added issue is that the rugby pitch is smaller than a GAA pitch

so looking at the map above I'd say the goal posts are actually in line with section 328 of the hogan rather than gurther back to the Davin stand
