I'm going to go unreg for this....Really would love to hear from the guys on this one:

There is something that has been playing on my mind for a couple of weeks now...We will have to go back a year and a half ago met this guy in a nightclub, and you know when your eyes meet that was it... He came up talking to me, found out that we have alot mutual friends in common hit it off like a house on fire he was doing all the texting and the ringing arranged to meet the next weekend and we had a lovely time, to be honest I started to play mind games with him saying I wasn't interest in a relationship when really I was (still don't know why I even said that to him)following weekend I went out with the girls and ended up meeting him out, to be honest I was a total drunken mess really bad I may add!! he totally ignored me that night cause I was such a mess ( makeup off my face hair all over the shop) to be honest I really wouldn't blame him..

Since then of course when you don't expect to see someone on a night out, you see them, we always stop for chats and have a bit of a laugh, never any awkardness...

So then out of the blue last weekend there was a big group of us out and of course he arrived on joined our company, drinking, chatting away in the nightclub as usual but towards the end of the night he came out with this question - " Why do you think we never worked out" I just said cause there was too many mind games and other issues...

After having the chat...Ended up kissing the boy and it was back to the way of having a good laugh totally relaxed around each other, we really do get on so well we have so much in common, went back to his house, the question came up...so do you still have my phone no??.. I said no!! (honestly why would I deleted that months ago!!) and I said to do u?? He went no we just laughed about it...Started talking about what events we have to go to over the christmas and then he asked me would I go to an event he has coming up, but me of course as usual just said NOTHING acted like I wasn't interested when I really was i would have love to go with him... Why you ask I said nothing cause I just don't want to get my hopes up and ask all the questions about this event and then he goes back to playing mind games.

Next morning I just left... It just ended by me saying sure I will talk to you soon.... So now my questions is why bother trying to chase me again after a year and a half?? Why didn't he ask me for my phone number again?? My moto in life is if a guy is really interested in you he will ask you for your phone number true?? He is just playing mind games again?? ....

Eh, how is he playing mind games? He showed interest, you said no. He's showing more interest, you're still saying no.

You're the one playing mind games. You need to cop yourself on or you're going to let him get away again.

'Do you still have my phone number?'

    'No'

'Would you like to go out with me?'

    <silence>

Seriously, what an ego bashing! He's not playing the mind games here, you are. He's interested, if probably a bit cast down about the whole thing, get his number and ask him out!

Why play mind games? They're so stupid. Why not be just up fronst and straight out with whatever you feel / want to say. Your both clearly interested in each other but your games may be screwing up a great chance. As a guy and from my point of view I hate mind games. hate is probably too soft a word. Detest is probably getting closer. So if a girl starts playing mind games with me I just leave her off to play whatever games she likes. I lose interest completely.

U mention him playing mind games but I'm not sure if you mean he could start playing mind games or that he could continue playing mind games implying he played them before. From what you describe it doesnt sound like he did play mind games in the past.

anyway my advice is quit playing games. open up tell the guy and guaranteed he will too

The guy deserves a girl who is not a childish mind-fking pr!k-tease building up his confidence before sh!tting all over it.

Leave him the hell alone is my advise, if you really like him.

Woman you are a mystery, in case you're too stupid to realise, which given what you have stated above may be the case.. YOU ARE MIND F**KING HIM.. YOU ARE PLAYING MIND GAMES. He has made it obvious he is interested and you are too dumb to realise it.

Ok emotive though this may be, lets dial back all this angry projection here, especially when it gets abusive. Any more of that guff and I'm handing out bannings. I'm looking especially at fabbydabby with helimachoptor coming i a close second. Personal abuse is not on. If you feel it's too emotive for you or you can't be helpful then refrain from posting. Only warning. Thanks

She lacks confidence and doesn't think she is good enough for anyone, knocking him back is a way of protecting herself as she feels he doesn't really like her this is cased by her insecurity

    More mind games.....

First of all, what's with the "back to" and the "again" ? He didn't play ANY mind games up to now, so even if he WAS playing them now, it wouldn't be "back to".

    Secondly.....

Why would he bash his head off a brick wall ? He asked you before, you said you weren't interested; rather than pushing it he left it; met up with you again; asked again; you said you weren't interested.

The guy isn't the problem here.

Any mention of "mind games" is 100% "projection". He hasn't played any WHATSOEVER.

He's asked twice, you shot him down twice; why would he POSSIBLY want your number ?

Christ, and women wonder why guys cant figure them out, OP, leave this guy alone, mind games are for 12 year olds, you're (i assume) an adult, either show interest and go with it or leave him alone and stop wrecking his head, this guys sounds like a normal decent bloke and you're stringing him along like a fool

    Agree.

And lads I'm female! Hate all that mind game crap. Waste of time energy and just ruins potential relationships.

The guy is clearly a saint, for some bizarre, unintelligible reason he's still interested in you.

Get his number off one of your mutual friends and act like an adult and call him. Ask him out, etc.

I've yet to see how he was playing mind games. I'm sorry to say it's you who's playing all the mind games. If a girl shows no interest in me, I walk away. Would you chase after a guy who showed you no interest at all? Of course you wouldn't.

I recommend if you actually like this guy that you make it clear. Don't say you are mad about him, wait for him to ask you out then turn him down. That's quite possibly insane. You'll have no-one to blame but yourself though if he goes off with someone else. Think about that!

Actually this post is a revelation ...concrete evidence , a confession no less, by the sort of girl that we lads suspected all along existed but could never prove ...
OP give the lad a call and no more headwreckin !
