Cant find P45 & put in a claim for dole

    Hi,
    I've lost my p45, cant find it & I went to make a claim today for jobseekers benefit. They asked me to bring it in to them within 7 days. Anyone know where & if I can get a replacement one?:confused:

    you cant get a replacement p45 AFAIK, at least not without going through the tax office

    This is not strictly correct. The tax office don't have anything to do with the actual issuing out of P45's. If your employer has filed part 1 of the P45 with the tax office, they may be able to send you out the details, but not an actual P45 certificate itself.
