Hi all. The screen on my laptop has started to "jump" today. Its flashing on and off every few seconds. Anyone any ideas as to what it might be?

    Thanks, its driving me nuts!!!

Could be a loose connection. When it's on what is the display like?

Have you been messing with any of the settings? refresh rate, screen resolution etc?

Does it improve/get worse if you move the screen in open/close directions?

Does it do it all the time or just in Windows?

If only in windows, it's most likely a driver issue or settings. If it does it when you're in the BIOS for instance, then you are looking at a hardware issue such as the graphics chip or the screen controller.
