Hi everyone,i have a Mk4 model and the front passenger footwell is letting water in, i have had the pollen filter checked (a common fault with this model) and it is ok , does anyone know what else it could be, as the weather forecast is pretty crap for the next week!!!! :)

I've heard somewhere that these can suffer from dodgy bulkhead sealant but it's supposedly easy enough to fix. Not sure on the details. The ECU is somewhere around the passenger footwell, and you really don't want that to get wet!

Check the heater hoses as they pass through the bulkhead, Silicon if necessary.

check the coolant level too, may be a burst heater matrix.
