Any difference in CompTIA A+ 2006 & 2009?

    Hi all,

I've been studying for CompTIA A+ (2006 version) for the past few months and now I see that the 2009 version is available to take. Does anyone know if there is much difference in the Essentials exam between the 2006 & 2009 version? Would I need to get a CompTIA A+ 2009 book to take the new exam?

Have anyone taken the 2009 yet? If so, what was the practical like?

Thanks for any help you can give!

    :)

I would suggest that you download the new exam objectives and compare, they have added new technoliges and removed any dated material, but I would say alot of the material would be the same.
