    Hi all, I was trying to find out why the long anvenue in dundalk was closed off yesterday but there was nothing on the main rte news. I found this in the indo

    how is it that a bomb in a town in ireland does not get coverage by the main broadcaster but they have a story about police bikes in the uk?

    Oh relax for goodness sake.!It was a small cylinder without a timer not a major bomb. It was on RTE radio and Aertel news. Probably enough publicity. I had calls from people in Dublin, Cork, and Tullamore who heard about it before the Indo article so the news was out there.
