Vodafone SMTP Server problems started today

    Hi everyone,

    Been using mail.vodafone.ie as my smtp server and webmail.eircom.net for POP3 fine until today when I get the following errors sending email to non eircom accounts:

    553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)

    Everything was fine until this morning, no config changes etc... Has anyone else had this problem - if so advice on resolving the issue would be appreciated.

    Who is your ISP?

    ISP is Vodafone, email accounts are eircom.

    Vodafone confirmed a problem, resolved by power cycling the Modem
