**Dublin Bands looking for rehearsal rooms, please read**

Just want to gauge some interest on this so bare with me....

Basicaly the landlord who owns the room my band rehearses in wants to set up more rehearsal rooms and wants to know if there would be any interest in this. It would be a fully soundproofed room, shared by 3 bands. Rent would be in and around the 1000euro a month mark(Negotiable). For that ya get a very large room, easily store 3 bands equipment without having to store it away after each practice, 24hrs access, fully secured with your own keys, who only the bands will have copies of.

My band have a set-up like this and it couldn't be better. We get to use our own equipment, its safe, and close to everywhere in town.

So if there are any bands looking for a place like this get in touch with me here. Soundproofing of the room isn't done yet, but will be by the new year.

So its 1000 split between the 3 bands then yeah?

Yeah, but that price is only a guide, and is negotiable. If you feel its too much, he'll have no problem chatting to you about it. Again, this is in a very early stage, trying to gather interest, to see if its worth going ahead with.

That is a thought im sure alot of people will be thinking. But it seems to work in places like Creamy sonic, The rehearsal rooms, The vaults and so on....

I used a room in Creamy Sonic for two years with 4 bands i didnt know, never had a problem, nothing ever went missing, or got used without my permission.

Idealy the bands that would take up something like this, it being a semi-long term contract of types, would be known, gigging bands. Therefor i hope they would have enough cop-on to respect other peoples equipment. Its common sense really!

Hey Kris, Im really interested...Ive been looking for someplace I could store my piano in and go down and write in whenever I liked. So its 1000 between three bands? Where is it based?

Yeah its split between 3 bands, but again price is negotiable! Its in the same building that Loop Studio's is in, but has nothing to do with them.

Where exactly is it in town? Is there a mixing desk/speakers/mics and stands and that in the room?

There's already a guy doing this sort of thing. It's called 'Bolt' out near the ossry road. Huge place, loads of rooms ranging by size from 250-500 a month so 700 is still a little too steep I reckon.

*EDIT* only seeing now that it's split between the bands. My bad.
