    Just wondering, its not the most popular thread, it never has the highest amounts of views and its rarely the one i would pick.

    I'm pretty sure it's the thread with the highest rating. If you look at the blue bar at the top of the thread there's an option to "rate this thread".

    Edit: This thread is now a 5 star thread thanks to my good self.

    Edit 2: Actually I don't think it has anything to do with the rating system, the thread of the day for today has no ratings. Guess it's just a lucky dip style deally.

    I thought it was like the American companies who patronise their workers by having an 'employee of the month' thinking the workers dont realise they are being manipulated:confused: ,hoping the employees will 'divide' and produce more,Who do they think they are kidding!!!!!!!!!:D

    On a related matter, how is the post of the day picked? I realise it's something to do with thanks, is it the most thanks within an hour of midnight or something?

    It's the most thanked post from the previous day. So tomorrows post of the day will be a post that was made today and that has received more thanks than anyother post today.
