Help me find a dress!!

Hi Ldaies,

Rarely post on here so hope you can help!

It's my 30th in a few weeks and am looking for a dress to wear on the night. Am a size 16, 5'6" and looking for something gorgeous to wear. Budget is max 200 euro, anyone seen anything nice recently to suit?

Open to all colours. I guess looking for something to knee length, above knee, i have decent sized boobs so need to accomodate them :D

I just haven't been in shops in ages and am looking for suggestions e.g. swa this lovely dress in Warehouse etc?

H&M also has some really nice party dresses too, at really reasonable prices. Sounds like you wanna splash out though! What with Christmas coming up as well, why not go for a bit of sparkle? :)

Strapless would be good for your boobs I think. White will flatter a tan, if you have one.

Hi again OP! I think the awear one would be quite flattering actually- my friend who would be roughly the same size as you bought something extremely similar recently and looked great in it.

I don't know about you, but I have ample assets too and avoid 99% of strapless dresses like the plague, they are just so difficult to find excellent support for! Although the dresses the poster above me suggested were luvverly

How about this? You can't go wrong with Karen Millen and the dress comes with remove straps.

Karen Millen is gorgeous, but her designs are not very accomodating of boobage. In fact, they're heartbreaking when you're large breasted - they're so pretty but don't fit very well.

Try the various ranges in Debenhams - I find their designs quite good.

Otherwise, search for a designer called Tadashi - his stuff is great for larger-boobed women, I've bought two of his dresses from ebay.com and I love them.

Try Coast... Great fit for all sizes, very flattering, and should be within your 200 budget. Have a look at their website... Some nice stuff on it. Very classy

A friend of mine got a gorgeous red wrap dress in zara lately for about 30euros. She has really big boobs is a size 14 and looks amazing in it.

Ugh tell me about it. They don't accomodate lack of boobage well either.

I bought possibly the most beautiful Karen Millen corset. All lace and silk. It's doesn't fit right but I can't bear to sell it, it's too pretty.
