Not sure where you can get them, but they will be considerably more expensive, while on the topic have you considered rhodium?

    Hi,
Have not to be honest but will look in to it. From what i can gather titanium should be relatively cheap Vs white gold? with the cost attributed to it being a hard metal to work with, its just something different than the norm, it also extremely light & durable with regard scratching/scuffing ect

    the design yard does them.

Compared to gold they are quite cheap i think...anything from 100-250 iirc.

I know Ernest Jones on Grafton Street does, pretty much all the large jewellery stores had them in stock I found.

My band is titanium. Got a wide band with a matte finish. I'm not a jewellery kind of person and didn't really fancy anything bright and shiny on my hand. Just wanted something fairly plain and understated. Ring I got was perfect for it.

Not sure who told you this but I hope you didn't buy a ring off them  A titanium man's ring will cost anywhere from 150 - 300e I reckon, depending on design etc.

Yeah, exact reason why i dont want the norm, not a jewellery person either, what you described is what i want, low key and understated

Ernest Jones then, got mine there. Very helpful staff. It's a fairly wide band, flat finish, darkish titanium with a single engraved line around the middle. I think it was €225.

My fiance is buying his Titanium ring from www.weddingrings-direct.com - they've a huge selection.

You can order a 'sample' in sterling silver to make sure the shape and size is right for you before you order the real thing. The customer service has been topnotch ....

    Hi,
thanks for that, found them alright, good to know that someone has had a positive experience with them, they seem really competitive price wise for titanium

I don't know if it's any help, but I went with the fiance look at wedding bands.

I was looking for either a platinum or titanium simple looking ring, but the one I wanted in platinum was near 3k euro:eek: The most simliar in titanium was less than 300euro.

BUT here's the warning, according the assistant (and have heard elsewhere since), once you've picked the titanium ring, if you scrape it it can't be fixed, and you can't resize it due to the metal in it.

(I'm not a scientist/engineer, only relaying information I got myself).

That changed my mind about going the titanium route. Just a heads up:)

Aye but sure they're cheap enough to just buy a new one ;)

But a Titanium ring, at least the type I got is not a shiny ring pretending to be Gold. Its Titanium and I like it looking a little scuffed and manly looking :D
