    hi there

i'm moving to new zealand in a few weeks and i'm only allowed to bring 27kg total with me on the plane. which is pretty pathetic
so i decided i would post over a box with a few essentials in it so it would arrive shortly after i arrived

so i got on to ups and they wanted to charge me somewhere in the region of €600 to ship a box from cork to new zealand

the box is 46cm long 45cm high and 36cm deep
and the weight is just under 20 kg

so i'm wondering would anyone have any advice on which company to use

and a rough idea of a price

    cheers dave :)

Try by boat, it will take longer but I guess you will get a better deal.

    Hi
My leaflet from An Post states:
    5kg 55euro
    Each additional kg 5euro
    Total: €130 Standard.
Registered seems to be an extra €5
Maybe you should check the price with them.

    David
