Has anyone had this done in the cork area recently?

I had it done a few years ago, cost me a fortune and i still had facial hair. I am getting married next year and want to have another go. I have brown hair but i have some fair hairs that i want to remove aswell. Also can you remove hair in between sessions?

Any advice would be gratefully received. Thanks

I had it done in Dublin so that in itself isn't really going to help you. When I was booking in for mine (legs, bikini line, under arms and chin) I was told that the only place they wouldn't guarantee was the chin. Facial hair on women is linked to hormone production and any changes in this i.e. going on or off the Pill, pregnancy, menopause etc will alter the growth of hair on the face and may actually stimulate it. Also if you have fair hair you had no real chance of the laser picking that up. I know that there are supposedly more sophisticated lasers available now that can pick up on fair hair but if you had your laser done some time ago then it was never going to deal with the fair hair.
My advice to you re: facial hair would be to try threading. I use this on my eyebrows and upper lip and find it fantastic and it lasts for a good while too.

the only permnent method of hair removal is actually electrolysis. this is where a probe is inserted into each individual hair follice and an electic current is passed through, cutting off the blood supply so a hair will never grow there again.
laser will not work on fairer hairs because it needs to work on a pigment which is not found in fair hairs.when used sucessfully on dark hairs, some vellus hairs will grow back which will need to be shaved but not often.
electrolysis is good but it can take a long time as each hair needs to be treated individually. its not very nice to have done but i am a big baby ha.. at the end of the day, if you hav hair your self conscious of go for it because its totally worth it.ya can have it done at a lot of beauty salons, or call your local college, they probably need models all the time.
