I have a problem with one of my teeth, its the last tooth of the upper jaw of the left hand side,for a few months now I have felt a kind of roughness along the side of this tooth with my tongue and more recently I went messing with it woth my finger and its even rougher now, and since I have done that I have been getting this unpleasent taste in my mouth, its going to be very hard for a dentist to see it because its at the very back and on the side of my mouth facing my inner cheek, does anyone have any ideas what this is?

your dentist will have no difficulty whatsoever seeing it.
my guess is you have a buildup of tarter on the surface of the teeth and they need a good cleaning. might be a cavity also.
