Hi all, apologies if I posted this thread in the wrong forum.
I just wanted to ask are the rumour's I heard of the Driving Theory Test increasing from 40 questions to 80 true?
I'm slightly curious because as I am still studying for the test it would be a blow to me if this were the case.

    Hardly a consumer issue ...

Not a Consumer Issue - Moved to Learning to Drive

And to be honest, why is it a blow? Learning to drive is a serious, very serious, business. Anything that makes you a better, more thoughtful, driver is good.

In reality though, even if they are thinking of going this, it won't happen in a quick timeframe.

    I've heard that too...
Book your test as soon as you can. I just did the practice test on the CD over and over the week before mine and only failed one question in the real thing!:D

Theory test is ridiculouly easy. I wouldn't sweat it either way. Just read the sample questions. Note the few difficult ones and remember them. You don't have to memorise them all. In 90% of the case, you just select whatever sounds safest.
