Adrian Pasdar has been let go from NBC's Heroes.

Reports of a major character's death and departure from the show began circulating last month.

A studio rep for the NBC series would not confirm Pasdar's exit.

This isn't the first time Pasdar's character, Sen. Nathan Petrelli, has been killed off the series. At the end of Season 3, Nathan's throat was slit by Sylar, but Pasdar remained in the cast because the supervillain was forced to take on the guise and memories of the elder Petrelli brother.

The last time we saw the "new" Nathan, he had been shot by a hit man and unceremoniously buried. Since we're talking about Heroes, whether that's truly the end for Pasdar remains to be seen.

Nathan was my fav i will miss him :(

Nathan's been dead since "An Invisible Thread". The death shan't be his. Greg Grunberg has confirmed that "the Petrelli boys are safe".

    Still thinks it's Hiro.....why can't they have a mega battle?....kill Nathan/Hiro/Parkman....and Claire!!!

    Ha. So apparently it is
Nathan. Which doesn't make any sense, given he's already been dead since "An Invisible Thread". It's pretty annoying that they've billed it as a 'death'. They coulda just said that one of the actors would be leaving the show and left it at that. I was expecting/hoping for something really dramatic. This is just a bit of a jip.

It leaves me wondering, Parkman is dead right?, but is Sylar also?....and is Nathan now Nathan again?

No. Parklar ain't the death. The death is to come in chapter 11, as far as I know. The story with it is (and don't read if you don't wanna know cos it's proper spoilersville):
Parklar survives, finds 'Nathan' and then Sylar and Nathan battle it out (somehow) for Sylar's body. Even with Peter on his side, Nathan loses and Sylar takes back his body, making Nathan 'dead'.... Even though he's already dead.

    Good episode this.

So parklar isn't dead? What the ****? This is just stupid. Why did they bother with this **** so then? Surely they could have come up with a way of getting parkman back in to his body (which is I assume is what they are doing with this now) without him dying and being resurrected. This is just getting stupid.

He didn't die... He got shot and the ambulance dude was shocking his heart. The trailer for next week's episode explains everything anyway but if you wanna know right now,
    Peter heals him
    .

I have high hopes for the spoiler Nervous posted. I know what i would like to c happen but wont get my hopes up.
    Peter to take Sylars powers?

Don't think that's gonna happen but
Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) says that the 'goodbye scene' is some of Milo Ventimiglia's best work. I'm guessing it's gonna be a pretty intense one.

Yeah but it looked like he was dying. Just because the were using the defribulators on him doesn't mean they were gonna work. I was pretty shocked (in a good way) they were doing it, I was full sure the death would just be nathan which wouldn't be much of a death.

    Next ep spoiler
I know Peter heals him, but massive plot hole. Isnt Peter in New York and Parkman in Texas. Sylar stated that he was meant to kill Charile in that cafe.

I've renamed this thread and brought in some posts from the episode thread.

Try and keep most of the spoiler talk out of the current episode threads.

Parkmans Sacrafice was awesome and brave, a truly heroic death.

And....to think they permanently killed Veronica Mars!!

Ahh FFS you'd think the writers would at least kill somebody off, honestly Parkman's death would have been a perfect end.
