Anyone know how many current irish mag's that publish short story fiction?

Checked the racks in easons.

I found it a bit overwhelming and hadn't got time to check all the different types of magazines that publish short story fiction.

Two non-irish mags are playboy and the new yorker. And to be honest. I'll leave those two for the stephen kings and bret easton ellis's for the time being.

You need to check yourself. That way, you'll see which ones publish the sort of story you can see yourself writing.

What is it? Genre fiction, literary fiction, slipstream?

Does it have to be an Irish magazine? I'm having a hard time thinking of too many Irish magazines that publish short fiction, though I'm sure they must exist. Albedo One, if it's still running, publishes science fiction, but not at "pro" rates. The Sunday Tribune sometimes publishes short stories, or it used to. Probably quite a few small press publications and literary zines, but they might not pay much, if anything.
