right i just lost my job in construction and i saw a job in the paper for a delivery driver but you have to have a CLEAN licence,like how clean is clean..i have 4penatly points,will this matter?

Im no driver but you said whoever and from experience I can safely say, yes it is clean. In fact 12 penalty points is still clean, its only when you drop your licence into a ditch whilst driving your massive fifty year old tractor with mud instead of lights down a country road after a good few pints that it becomes dirtied.

Go for it anyway, tell them about the license and why you got the points, may be you got them for something that a multidrop delivery driver can't really do!

If you're a good experienced driver with a lot of miles on the clock, points are almost expected.

Jobsworths with hairdryers hiding behind trees are considered an occupational hazard!.

Only if you have an endorsement is it unclean, penalty points don't matter.
