    there's full contact kickboxing in:
    1.Loughlinstown Leisure Centre
    2.total fitness Sandyford and
3.St Peter and St Pauls (?) parish hall in blackrock

I may be biased but I think the club in Loughlinstown is the best!:D

    Awesome thanks for that.

Any info on the lounghlinstown kickboxing ?

Edit: I see it's only an hour long training twice a week, seems a little short. Would this be intense stuff ?

If Deansgrange is convenient we have Chinese Kickboxing 3-4 times per week (1.5 hr class). Chinese Kickboxing otherwise known as Sanshou combines Punching and Kicking with wrestling throws, sweeps, reaps and takedowns!

You are welcome to take a free trail week with us before making any decision on your training, try as many clubs around and find the one that siuts you best.

We are based in The Martial Arts Academy in Deansgarnge Business park (just around the corner from the NCT centre!

Visit www.ymaa.ie and click on the Martial arts academy logo for more info about us and also visit the Sanshou training pages for the schedule etc.

    Goodluck with the search.

Are you a comlete beginner or do you have any experience?

The classes are from 8 - 9 15 tuesday and thursday, it is very hard training imho but may not be exactly what you are looking for, as with any club.

PM me if you want the instructor Glen's number. He does the first class free so you can decide if you like it or not.

anyone know whereb i could do private muay thai lessons over northside of dublin

Two main Thai gyms on the northside are Bridgestone Thai and Dublin Thai, both have privates available.

Bridgestone is north city center (Just off Smithfield) and Dublin Thai is in Kilbarrack so whichever is closer to you.

    Hope that helps

What would be the difference between one of these main thai gyms and any other thai gym on the northside pat ?
Not trying to start an argument just wondering why you wouldn't class any other gym as a main thai gym.

Sorry, I meant gyms that do exclusively Thai as opposed to a gym that also offers Thai Boxing alongside other styles/fitness as there are probably quite a few that I don't even know about.

Don't get me wrong, I'd consider Lionheart and Wild Geese Thai main gyms as well just City Center gyms as opposed to North or Southside.
