I want to start a thread for people to post their HOT PICKS for the Day Week or month. In order to make sure there is no confusion there will be rules. Soemtimes there are stocks that have huge potential but are already overbought and are due for a correction and consolidation. So it might be helpful to consider this.

Also the urgency of the buy in the case of a rumour or news circulating that will send a stock up such as mergers or surprise or unexpected FDA approvals. So you could label these with a Strong BUY.

Other stocks could be label as just BUY or watch to BUY

Obviously some stocks are at different stages technically and could be isued with a recommmendation to watch this stock for an entry to BUY.

Then you could have stocks with a strong SELL.

The more information you can give the better and also the reason for the recommendation and also whether its a pump and dump. The importantance of this thread is to work as a team and glean some good trades from the external resources so we can hopefully make someone some money.

XMDC: A good BUY ( leading up to merger might see (30% - 70 %)

It has alredy gone up 16% but i did call it in the other thread earlier today and yesterday.

BioHarp is a cutting-edge medical imaging device that utilizes a non-invasive approach to detect inflammation in the human body on a cellular level. It is an hand-held, lightweight, portable, and affordable device which has tested for 100% no-false positives, and 95.9% cancer positive .

I am watching XMDC and really dont know where this might go if its genuine and if it realistic and have has commericial prospects in the near future then it should overtake IMGG which has gone up a few thousand percentage.

Something like this could be a huge hit. As far as i can tell its at the basic stages of clinical trials but its non invasive so this wont be an issue. I havent seen good data on humans and its appears to have been pioneered through animal medicine and not human medicine but obviously thats incidental now.

If anyone followed MELA and its non invasive cancer skin cancer detetction device they will know this could be massive. MELA will be a hot pick in short few weeks.

Hi Pirelli. Nice thread. Hope to have my first addition to it soon. The momentum in smallcap biotech stocks has subsided so i have been quiet. Keep the picks coming.

I'm following this one. The 10K seems to indicate a delay to the December decision. Here is the statement "The date for an anticipated FDA Advisory Panel to review the MelaFind® PMA has not been established, therefore, we expect the review of the MelaFind® PMA to continue into 2010".This would explain the sell-off. I will be looking for an entry around $7 and would expect a nice bounce when the Panel review is scheduled. As we know the FDA are understaffed and this type of delay is not unusually. GLTU.

If the market corrects it might drop even further then you will have people trying to get in running up to the FDA approval. I will wait until i have a more definite date so as not to tie up funds.

Have a look at BBI.B Blockbuster is convertinf shares from A to B with the rumour B will profit.

Also look at BZCN its working through ebay selling or auctioning merchandise and it sounds profitable.

    BUY:Recommended

Has NEW MOOON merchandise rights. While twilight was a success it seems NEW MOON isnt as popular or at worst just as unpopular. However I expect HOTT to hit $7 just on NEW MOON alone.

    hottnov.png

Most investors will admit HOTT has potential and was a 5 star S&P until recently when it was downgraded it and set a new $& target. It almost as low now as it was in the march lows.

    Thanks Foxirl,

I had thought 1.66 might be it. It might be just a bounce and might slide back a bit.

xoma - has balance sheet problems and apparantly only enough money to last one more year so there is a risk of shares dilution.Their drug however sounds like a block buster and targets diabeties. There are some concerns it will pas FDA but so far it looks very promising.

    BIEL

    http://www.google.com/finance?q=biel

RECOMMEND: Taking hard look at Biel looks interesting. Its trading lower now and i supppose it could continue to decline and even slide to 0.059 but i don't think day tarders are going to let that happen.

I dont know about biels convertibles/warrants but the report below makes it sound very solid.

    JTX

    Jackson Hewitt

This stock is alot like CHLN . It has bad periods and good periods.
I am not certain but i think the next financial report on the december the 9th will be poor. I am going to go through thier acounts this evening, but it looks bottomed out, and in fact regardless its going to start recovering share price here on in. Its looking cheap right now and a tight stop loss might deliver a tidy profit. Get in cheap today. Be cautious of earnings. The next earnings in the new year are usually good. Its a seasonal business i think.

Once earnings are over it will fly. IMO

Please help me figure this out it sounds explosive.

    http://www.marketwatch.com/story/jackson-hewitt-reports-fiscal-2010-first-quarter-results-2009-09-03

Jackson Hewitt has historically generated roughly 2% of its total annual revenues in each of the first two fiscal quarters due to the seasonal nature of the tax return preparation business. Additionally, Jackson Hewitt incurs a net loss during the first and second fiscal quarters.

It slid back a bit today, long term this looks a certain gain anyway. I'm thinking of buying on this waiting for a bit more of a slide.

I know this is way early to make this call on Bioelectronics Corp (OTC:BIEL). If a wait until it's time though, I'll probably have waited too long. Thoroughly confused? Read on.

In short, I'm expecting the worst from Bioelectronics Corp. shares.... a breakdown of the support at $0.056. I've made that call before, only to watch BIEL bounce off that line and hit $0.103 (earlier in the month). Yet, the stock sank a few days later, and is en route to what I believe is the eventual move under support. When that floor breaks though, the pace of the selling should be much faster.

As for a target, there's proven support around $0.025 (from July) for Bioelectronics Corp., and the next tranche of support as back around $0.002. Between the two, I think the former is more meaningful for BIEL at this time - a switch from the last time I talked about the chart. Either way, it may be moot of the stock doesn't break $0.056.

This is starting to show promise... Dont forget i recommended it at $3.96 and remain cautious ( but optimistic) on earnings for Dec 9th but bullish on this stock to reach $5.50 medium term. Might explode on earnings or might correct.

I am also looking at GRRF.

JTX- I think this earnings (on DEC 9t)h is the second cyclical low but the next two thereafter are cyclical highs.I would watch JTX over winter and get in low. Their earnings are cyclical so the stock should fly when the bottom is found.

JTX flew up 25%. It was another CHLN.

A tight stop loss at $3.96 would now give you a safe and secure sell at $5.50 or you could hold long term. :):D
