I'm tired of listening to all the moaning about recessions and job losses, tax increased welfare payments and fiery dogs.

I just moved into a new apartment with my beautiful girlfriend, my job is going well and i'll probably play a nice game of poker with my firends this evening while enjoying a few beers. So in general I would say life is good. I'd like to hear some other people who are making the most of life, no matter their situation, to cheer me and everyone else up after all these depressing posts floating around made me feel like the apocalypse is rolling in.

Fair dues to you OP - by the way, I too am having a great time at the moment, just yesterday I agreed to put your rent up, rode your girlfriend, arranged to have you fired - all of these things gave me immense pleasure.

Well the important thing is you're keeping your spirits up during these harsh times. Unfortunately for you I never told my gf about that herpes I picked up in Amsterdam, I would get checked if I were you.

    Good for you OP.
I've got my 30th this weekend. I'm happy to report that I've come out the other end of a bit of a mad, weird "i'm gonna be 30 and have no money or husband or house or babies" meltdown.
I finish up in work in 8 weeks then I'm off travelling round Asia then on to Australia to try n get a job.
    Wild adventure here I come
In your face stoopid societal, age-associated insecurities

I keep waiting to be in a position to drop everything and go travelling properly. I'm very jealous. Happy Birthday and enjoy your adventure.
