Civil Eng course help!!

    Hey guys!! Did the LC last year and decided to put off college for a year to decide on what I wanted to do?!..:confused:...Still not there but at the moment I'm thinkin Civil!? I got a B1 in pass maths and I'm just wondering if I'd be able for the course up there?:confused: I know I'll have to sit the entrance exam and I was wondering if anone knew of some good books that I could study to prepare for it?

    If I were you, I'd just do HL LC Maths.

    That'll be the biggest indicator as to whether or not you'll be able for the course.

    hmmm?!.....maybe? but the LC HL maths is a totally different course.....throwing myself into it now would be totally useless!! What sort of topics are covered in the Civil course?

    Mainly linear algebra and calculus. Look up past exam papers on the library website. It might look really hard but if you show up to lectures and tutorials it's not so bad.

    Cheers dan!! I've been told that the I.T course is pretty much the same!! Just turn up and you should be fine......I just woldnt like to pay out money for accommodation and books and all that stuff.....to drop out in a few weeks!!
