The man is a joke, he is worse than ridiculous and just take a look at that thing he is trying to grow on his top lip. Has to be the most ridiculous person on T.V worldwide.

    Might it be for Movember?

I assume you mean apart from Alan Hughes or Mark Cagney. Or Martin King?

    Or Alan Cantwell?

Amazing...... Considering TV3 is not funded by your TV licence money i think the simple option for you all would be to switch off

I find it more annoying to think of the money that RTE is allowed pay the usual 4 big names with my money. One of there wages would in all probability pay for all the above TV3 presenters you mention.

It seems moira duran has copped this and side shifted herself across to RTE....

But the poor quality of programming like Ireland AM annoys me, because TV3 are only allowed broadcast with a guarantee to produce and air a certain amount of "Irish programming", and then they make this up with cheap trash like Ireland AM and Xposé.

He is a slob who is more wooden than a tree.

As long as they are broadcasting on the public airwaves I reserve my right to say how **** they are.

As long as they show X Factor. I reserve right to detest that broadcaster.

No, I wont get over it. If I don't like something I should not criticise it just because it's free? TV3 are a joke, end of.

Are we getting into trowing the toys out of the play pen folks. You dont like TV3 you dont like aidan cooney. I find them annoying to be honest but I am not to critical of them because I know that there survival depends on advertising revenue and I know that advertisers will research the media before using it.

However, What really p1sses me off is RTE. You do not advertise with RTE prim because people watch it. You advertise because of the broad spectrum it reaches.

I have no problem with Aidan Cooney. I have no problem with TV3 and if i did I can rest in the knowledge that it would not disturb me enough to comment on it because I do not pay for it

Aidan Cooney & Mark Cagney are seemingly growing a tash for a Charity.

    Fair play to them

I do not like seeing this guy on tv and it just so happens that I do not like the channel that he works for.

That was me being very lazy :D I remember him now, he is a tool, then again he is on TV3 so that would explain it. Stopped watching TV3 after Playtv started, straw that broke the camels back and all that!!!

OP, you need to calm down a bit. Aidan Cooney is indeed growing it for Movember, thus raising awareness for men's health in particular testicular cancer and prostate cancer. Don't know whether you male or female but until you are touched by cancer, thou should not judge. If he was to wear a pink ribbon, would you judge him differently?

Remember when some bright spark in TV3 had the great idea of making Cooney a football presenter, ala Bill O Herlihy! Facepalm of apocalyptical proportions. He made Pat Kenny look like J Ross

Even if Cooney was a braindead, dribbling cabbage being kept alive by a machine presenting a program i have more respect for him than anyone on RTE
