'm only starting Act III but so far I'm absolutely loving it. Granted the actual storyteling could be a bit tighter but as far the production values, visuals and gameplay goes it's absolutely top notch.

Favourite moment so far has to be:
Being that astronaut up in the ISS after the missile launched! Not many games make me literally drop my jaw that was just so unbelievably well done. Also, those little moments in the 2nd level with Soap climbing up the mountain honestly thinking I was going to fall off every 2nd turn was really engaging too.

I just finished it there. It was completely mindblowing and better than the Cod4 single player in almost every way, but once again it was too short. I finished it in one mammoth 6 hour non stop session. I dont mind the length so much as I've the whole multiplayer side of it, but 5/6 hours for a single player seems a tad short..

    Still absolutely fanstastic though :D

Thought the storyline could have been much better. Didn't feel any relationship with any of the characters, wasn't as interesting as MW1. Everything was just happening, whereas in MW1 there was a greater sense of involvement, and tension and suspense.

In saying that the visuals were great, and the individual missions were fun to play, I just think the overall picture of the campaign could have been constructed better.

Short and sweet too, not too long that I wouldn't play it again.

I thought the story was a bit iffy. Could have been better, but the way they told it is amazing! Really really well done.
Do feel that it was incredibly short though. Maybe should've done it on a higher difficulty, but did feel it was challenging so I think it was just that it was short. Spec Ops make up for that complaint though.
    Yeah good story, cool ending.

Im not sure about the end though, i really thought
soap was going to die, and i was really sad about that.. feel kinda robbed of my melancholy now that he made it to the nikolais helicopter.

I enjoyed it. Found it hard to follow but it was fun. Also I think veteran has been dumbed down. Completed it in about 8 hours. Hardest mission for me was takedown and it wasn't unbearable. The enemy threw hardly any granades. No where nearas difficult as WaW

I bought it for the multiplayer aspect, but happy with the single player, will defo play again.

Finished it today, liked the twists in the plot but it's too short, much too short.

Ya, good call on that, clearly overlook the Spec-Ops mode. And don't forget to ask the other PC gamers who post here talking about the MP what they're doing in MW2, you might be surprised.

OP, I enjoyed this more than CoD4. Most missions were better imo, with the Task Force 141 aspect standing out for me. It is short though, but the Spec-Ops more than makes up for that!

I thought the story was great in an 80's action movie kind of way. As said above, you were pulled through it rather than played through it, which was a bit of a let down. And even though it was shorted than most games, I really didn't notice it.

There were a few moments that I thought really stood out,
like the astronaut part mentioned above, or when you're the american soldier having just had your helicopter crash and you're running low on bullets, then there's a white light blinding you and you go off to play another character. You then realise a nuke has hit Washington and get to replay what you think are the last moments of the american soldiers life, only to find out that the light was from a chopper. Then the EMP hits and all the choppers start crashing around you. I just thought it was a brilliant sequence.

I think that the game could easily have been longer though. Like when you assault the prison, you've got basically one firefight when you land, but that could of been expanded by quite a bit before you enter the building. The map wouldn't of even had to have been change, they could of just spawned more enemies higher up on the battlements.

Yes I liked the story but it was too short, i especially liked the tributes to "The Rock" and "Black Hawk Down".
